Our speaker this month
Paula Moran is the President and CEO of the USO of Hampton Roads and Central Virginia.
Paula Moran was raised on a working farm in Havre de Grace, Md. She graduated from West Nottingham Academy Preparatory School and holds a B.A. in English from Hood College in Frederick, Md., and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law.
Paula worked in small legal practice for several years before her first foray in to non-profit leadership at Ontario County Historical Society in Canandaigua, New York. Later, Paula was hired to lead Summit County Historical Society in Akron, Ohio, where she remained for almost 13 years.
In 2009, she and her family moved to Norfolk where she served as Executive Director of Horizons Hampton Roads until coming on board with the USO as its President and CEO in September 2012.
