Due to the declared state of emergency in Virginia and the nation, we have canceled this event to help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Resolution of issues germane to the Annual Meeting such as possible rescheduling, and conduct of the election for the 2020-2022 Board of Directors are to be determined. We are currently in the process of refunding registration fees. We will do our best to keep ALCON informed as this very fluid situation develops.

Get the latest info on the state of the Hampton Roads Chapter and vote for the 2020–2022 Board of Directors.

In compliance with Chapter By-Laws, the 2020 Hampton Roads Chapter Annual Meeting and the election of the 2020–2022 Board of Directors will be held from 1130 to approximately 1300 on Thursday, 26 March in the Norfolk Room at the Sewells Point Golf Course.
Mark your calendars and plan to join fellow Naval Academy graduates and Chapter members at a buffet luncheon; get brought up to speed on the latest status of our Chapter; and participate in the election of the Board that will lead the Chapter for the next two years.

Following a brief "State of the Chapter" report by the Chapter President, Rear Admiral Cindy Thebaud '85 (Ret.) will be our guest speaker.

RDML Thebaud is a surface warrior whose 31-year career included command of USS Decatur (DDG 73), Destroyer Squadron 60, and Expeditionary Strike Group 2. Ashore her assignments included duties as Commander Logistics Group Western Pacific and Commander, Task Force 73; Director, Division of Professional Development at USNA; and a Company Officer at the Naval Academy. She will share her naval leadership experience as well as her passion for the Navy, the Naval Academy, and the Brigade of Midshipmen.  

Please join us for an afternoon of camaraderie and the opportunity to meet and vote for the dedicated Chapter members that have volunteered to serve on the Board.

Parking is free and base access is not required.
