The Virginia Peninsula and Hampton Roads Chapters invite you to our Joint April Luncheon at the James River Country Club on Saturday, 18 April.
Connect with alumni from "the other side of the river" to hear our guest speaker Rear Admiral Craig Quigley '75, USN (Ret.), Executive Director of the Hampton Roads Military and Federal Facilities Alliance (HRMFFA), offer his perspective on “thinking about the next 5 to 10 years of the federal presence in Hampton Roads.”
After being commissioned, RDML Quigley went to sea and qualified as a Surface Warfare Officer before accepting a lateral transfer to the restricted line as a Public Affairs Officer. He served 27 years on active duty, including a tour as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs) at the Pentagon.
Upon retiring from the Navy, RDML Quigley became Vice President of Communications & Public Affairs for Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems & Sensors; and then Director of Communication for U.S. Joint Forces Command in Hampton Roads.
In 2010 he assumed his present position at HRMFFA, a public-private partnership dedicated to attracting, retaining and growing federal facilities in the region. RDML Quigley’s complete bio is at: https://www.hrmffa.org/about-us/biographies/3-craig-quigley-executive-director.
Dress code is casual; polo shirts are fine, but no jeans.
Registration is required by 16 April, payment by credit card only.
