Connect with alumni from "the other side of the river" to hear our guest speaker Rear Admiral Craig Quigley '75, USN (Ret.), Executive Director of the Hampton Roads Military and Federal Facilities Alliance (HRMFFA), offer his perspective on “thinking about the next 5 to 10 years of the federal presence in Hampton Roads.”
After being commissioned, RDML Quigley went to sea and qualified as a Surface Warfare Officer before accepting a lateral transfer to the restricted line as a Public Affairs Officer. He served 27 years on active duty, including a tour as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs) at the Pentagon.
Upon retiring from the Navy, RDML Quigley became Vice President of Communications & Public Affairs for Lockheed Martin Maritime Systems & Sensors; and then Director of Communication for U.S. Joint Forces Command in Hampton Roads.
In 2010 he assumed his present position at HRMFFA, a public-private partnership dedicated to attracting, retaining and growing federal facilities in the region. RDML Quigley’s complete bio is at: https://www.hrmffa.org/about-us/biographies/3-craig-quigley-executive-director.
Dress code is casual; polo shirts are fine, but no jeans.

The Chapter's annual Spring Golf Outing will take place Thursday, 7 May 2020 at the Aeropines Golf Course, NAS Oceana.
Base access is required.
Check-in and lunch is at 1100. The fun begins at 1230 with a shotgun start, Best-Ball/Captain’s Choice Format. Awards and beverages at 1730: 1st & 2nd place each flight, closest-to-pin award, and the Frageelee Award for largest class turnout.
Please come join us for a great event and enjoy an outing with classmates, shipmates, fellow alumni and guests.
The price includes green & cart fees, Mulligans, prizes, range balls, and a cookout lunch with beer and soft drinks.
Individuals or groups can also help sponsor the event for $500. Sponsorships include one foursome and acknowledgements at the event.
We encourage all USNA alumni golfers to become chapter members.
Registrations will be accepted through 5 May 2020. In the case of inclement weather, we will reschedule, and cancel only as a last resort.

Tracy Keller, has been the Chief Executive Officer for the Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast since 2005, a council serving nearly 12,000 girls with the help of more than 5,000 adults in southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina. She is a graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College, earning a bachelor’s degree in computer science and mathematics.
Tracy received a certification in nonprofit management in 2007 from the Academy for Nonprofit Excellence and during that year was selected from an elite group of Girl Scout CEOs to attend a Strategic Leader Seminar at the United States Army War College sponsored by the Columbia University Business School. In 2009, she graduated from the Lead Hampton Roads executive program and in 2010 joined the ranks of the prestigious Civic Leadership Institute alumni. Her most recent award includes the 2018 Women in Business Award by Inside Business.
Tracy is currently a member of the following organizations: Great Bridge Rotary Club, Tidewater Community College Alumni Council, United Way of South Hampton Roads and United Way Virginia Peninsula Women’s United, Hickory Middle School PTA Board, and serves as a Stephen Minister at Hickory Ridge Community Church. She is a lifetime Girl Scout who received the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest award a girl may earn in Girl Scouts.
Join the Hampton Roads Chapter at Neptune's Park at sunrise on Memorial Day. We will have a moment of silence at sunrise, and then a run/walk down the Virginia Beach Boardwalk towards Rudee Inlet and back.
Even if you choose not to run or walk, please join us to take a purposeful pause in your busy lives. We will take a moment to remember our USNA brothers and sisters who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.
Be there by 5:45 a.m. (it will be light out by 5:20). Wear your Run To Honor gear, or something to commemorate your comrades. Run or walk, however fast or slow as you would like. This gathering is about fellowship and remembrance.
